Restaurants in Port de Pollença (Puerto Pollensa)
The Corb Mari
This restaurant can be found in Port de Pollenca at the town end of the Pine Walk (this is a tree lined, paved avenue which runs along the sea front from the Hotel Il a dor at one end to the Port of Pollenca (where there are lots of shops at the other). It has a wonderful al fresco dining area, under Bourganvillia flowers and overlooks the sea.
All food here is grilled and they are well known for the quality of their meat as well as Langoustine brochettes.
- Fairly expensive – meal for two including wine is around 100 Euros.

Stay
International food. Over the years, Stay restaurant has a great position on the edge of the marina where you can watch the boats and see the sunset from your table. Along with the view, the fresh fish, graze lamb and great desserts make this a special place to eat. Fairly expensive. Booking in high summer is essential and its worth selecting a table out front. Good service. Open all year round.

Bahia
Another sea front restaurant which is on the Pine Walk itself and here you can sit just at the edge of the sea. It’s close to the Corb Mari but very different in style – the menu is primarily fish and they do a wonderful Zarzuela dish which is a Mallorquin speciality fish casserole (though the best one we’ve tried is served at Clivia).
Less expensive than the Corb Mari and they offer a children’s menu. Booking in high summer is advisable. Service is unhurried.

Restaurants in the Old Town of Pollenca
La Fonda
Lovely Mallorquin restaurant in the old town of Pollenca which you can find to one side of the square. They serve proper traditional food here and the service is good. It’s a lovely spot. The old town has many restaurants but this one is our favourite. Prices are around the same as the Corb Mari. If you want to sit outside it’s a good idea to book. Tel: (0034) 971 534751.
- Theme: Traditional, rustic, romantic – great food.
- Closed December and January.
Clivia
Wonderful Mediterranean restaurant where they serve the best Zarzuela we’ve ever tasted – though you would need to pre-order it as its not always on the menu. The restaurant itself is much more formal – all seating is inside, in the beautifully air-conditioned dining room . The high quality of all the dishes served along with excellent service make this a great experience.
- Theme: Formal, Mediterranean, Romantic.
- Open all year (except Wednesdays during the winter).
- Essential to book during high season.
